Ocean eyes - Album cover redesign

Although I love the original album artwork for Owl City’s Ocean Eyes, I wanted to create something that better reflected Adam Young's dreamy and imaginative lyrics. While I did not specifically set out to include imagery from every song on the album, I do reference many of the lyrics in this piece, such as:
"And then you yelled as we beheld/ An old maroon hot air balloon"
"Hello Seattle, I am a manta ray/ Deep beneath the blue waves"
"The disco ball is just hanging by a thread"

I uploaded a modified version of the design to Redbubble for use in a variety of products, including shirts, masks, and prints.
