This illustration of St. Joan of Arc portrays the Saint charging into battle against the forces of evil. Her armor is inspired by medieval battle armor, but I took some artistic liberties—such as having one arm with plate armor and the other with chainmail—in order to create a more interesting composition. The angelic wings also move the drawing away from realism, instead focusing on Joan’s legendary faith and heroism. This design is available on Redbubble.
